  1. Hoho, you lucky lady, to be able to go sailing! And us lucky people to be able to enjoy your music and updates!

Actually you remind me of Debbie the Lone sailor by French and Saunders. She was going to sail around the world but ended up in a storm
just outside Plymouth and her mum had forgotten to pack food so all she had to eat was curly wurlies by her sponsor. That was the end of her sailing.

I think your sailing has been more successful.

  4. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again, or so the saying goes.

“Do you suffer when you write? I don't at all. Suffer like a bastard when don't write, or just before, and feel empty and fucked out afterwards. But never feel as good as while writing.” Who said that?

Ps; HINT – “I would stand and look out over the roofs of Paris and think, ‘Do not worry. You have always written before and you will write now. All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.’”

  5. Call and Response – Cellophane City

If I were to find myself stranded on a remote island with nothing but music at my disposal and a few coconuts, “And I Moved” would be there at the top of the charts as well as, “It Isn’t Going To Be That Way.” And I Moved is arguably Pete’s best. No, that is incorrect – what is there to argue about? Honestly speaking, it is his best. And it isn’t going to be that way is on the same plateau. The best of the best.

Good night, I hope your day was bright....

Ps; Well, you may have found that Steve isn’t the best singer, but he sure has a great kisser. All the better to put a lip-loc on that harp! I think there may be some black in that boy.

  7. Trying to post coherently, but my real response to this latest piece is just "Wow." Thanks, Rachel, for letting us in.

And Tommy D, I really love the quote and was so sure it was Colette, but no, it's Hemingway?

    It's a "Wow" day.
