ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

In many ways today has been as difficult as yesterday was - but there has been some resolution.
As i am always reminded, it is only ever myself i can change, or my reactions to people and situations.
I think its a question of immaturity - on my part.
So here is wishing you all well,
R x

  1. I'm happy that you have found some resolution, despite continued difficulty - and hope things continue to get clearer. It's true that in the end you are the only one you have influence on, in any situation.

Wishing you all the best, you good soul.

I'm just happy today because my sister got the permament teaching post at the secondary school she's been at on temp basis for the past few years. I'm very proud of my little sister. They would've been morons not to select her!

  2. Pleased to hear you found a resolution to the situation Rachel.
It's true, it is us, the individual, that can affect the outcome. So glad you found light.

  4. Holaaaa,

Remember that people can't hurt you unless you let them do it. This is easy to say, but you can get it, little by little.
I'm glad that you've found some resolution, that's good.

Not long ago I went to see and exhibition about "La Movida Madrileña". I was a kid during the 80's so all my memories of it come from tv, good memories by the way. There were pictures and videos of Pedro Almodóvar, Alaska...and many other people that I had forgotten, it was nice.

If you ever come to visit Madrid, go to "Museo Chicote", it's a cocktail bar, very nice. I've seen Almodóvar there a couple of times, writing...he loves the place.

    Good night to everyone,

  5. "May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
    May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
    May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping."

  7. "Try to wear the world like a loose garment"

Advice I received long ago and try to bring to mind when troubled by people, places and things.
