However adorable the poodle is, I have to warn: the end times are at hand: there are Justin Bieber trading cards for sale at the local grocery store! Aagh! The Californian prophet was right after all.
Poodles are not known for their taste in music, Rachel, but I’ve never known a poodle that didn’t purr like a kitten when told, I’m in love with you, in a gentle song. You can take my word for it, or you can try it on your own. Either way, you won’t be wronged.

If the poodle is not in the mood for some lovey-dovey, go to plan B and try some dance music. Most poodles like to dance to this next tune.
The good ones do.

Give it a spin, you have nothing you to lose, except perhaps what remains of the carpet.
And of course if all else fails, go with attitude! Do poodles like to roam?
Have you ever been to a drive-in theatre? Poodles get in free – no admission charge. But if you’re short of cash, if it’s between paydays, children over 12 have to travel in the trunk. Just till you get past the ticket booth and find a good spot to park, then out they jump! The swings and the teeter-tooters up front, beneath the big screen, are free for all. I watched an entire movie once while swinging back and forth, my feet barely touching the ground. There was no sound, but the action was great.
